NEW! Vendor Showcase

In the interest of everyone's safety we will not be having exhibit booths at Government Affairs this year. Instead, we are introducing an exciting new opportunity for our vendors, a Vendor Showcase. The Vendor Showcase will give you the opportunity to tell attendees about your latest product or service during a 5 minute presentation. You will have attendees‘ undivided attention! These presentations will be submitted for contact hours. In addition to having the attention of ALL attendees, we will also be providing all attendees with a handout that will include your contact information. The Vendor Showcase provides great exposure, safely! One workshop registration is also included for the presenter.

There are a limited number of Vendor Showcases so register today to reserve your spot!

COVID-19 Precautions

Due to social distancing requirements, we will be limiting attendance and this workshop may reach capacity, so register TODAY!

We have heard from many of you who are excited to meet again in person and we are also looking forward to seeing you, safely. This workshop will look different. While it is impossible to eliminate all risk associated with COVID-19, we are working hard to ensure as safe an experience as possible. Here are some of what we are planning in partnership with Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center:

  • OWEA and OAWWA staff and hotel staff will be wearing masks and in some cases face shields during the event.
  • Due to the executive order signed by Governor DeWine, all attendees who are physically able to will be required to wear a mask when not eating, drinking or speaking to the audience. While we encourage you to bring a mask you are comfortable with, One Water will also provide masks during events. Masks are the best way to keep everyone safe when we are around each other.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided by both the venue and One Water.
  • We ask that you take your temperature before heading out to the workshop and that you stay at home if they don't feel well or have a temperature.
  • We will have lots of signage and explanations of correct social distancing measures.
  • We will be observing a minimum of 6 ft of social distancing in the ballroom, so we will be very spread out.
  • Communal meals will look different, you will eat at your seat.
  • Food service will look different. Boxed lunches will be provided, and you might see many more individual items.
  • There will be markings on the floor to help maintain safe distances between attendees.
  • We will be dismissing attendees by row to eliminate a large group during breaks.
  • Podiums, microphones and laptops will all be wiped down between speakers.
  • We will maintain recommended distances between all attendees, between staff and attendees,  and between speakers and attendees.
  • We will be communicating with registered attendees multiple times prior to the event to ensure everyone is comfortable and aware of these changes.
